{Lensbaby Project} January – Macro

My New Year’s resolution for this year is to work on developing my artistic side. As part of that, I joined a group of women who are all working together to use the Lensbaby system to take photos. If you’re not familiar with Lensbabies, they are camera lenses that can swivel around and create areas of focus and areas of blur. I have had one for a while, and have taken some fun images with it, which you can see here.
Since I spent much of this month housebound due to an ankle injury, all of my images from this month are taken at home. I decided to use the macro adapters to take all of the Lensbaby images for this month as very close up photos of various things around my house. I even experimented with a few creative aperture disks for some fun effects. See if you can figure out what they are!
If you’d like to see what my fellow Lensbaby photographers are up to this month, hop over to Winnipeg Fine Art Photographer Jaime Profeta to see her work and she will have a link to the next one in the group.

Love the one of the green fern. It looks like a book that has been opened. It made me look twice! Is the blue one a feather? Very creative! I enjoyed looking at all of them. :)
